Hi gentlefolks,
I recently upgraded my laptop to Debian Jessie, and now I face the
following situation:
I use wicd to manage my network connections. This still works, but only
with wired network. Trying to connect to a wireless network fails
("Authentication failed"). But this used to work before.
Of course I have checked the WPA key, and it is correct. Furthermore,
when starting KDE instead of Fluxbox, then the KNetworkManager is able
to connect to the wireless network, while wicd still cannot connect,
even when running under KDE.
Has anyone ideas what the problem could be?
Unfortunately it is not possible to use the KNetworkManager with
Fluxbox, as it won't start there.
