Currently I'm running fluxbox from xubuntu 12.04 on my asus EEEpc
with 2 Gb of RAM. I'd like to replace that installation with an
ubuntu 14.04 mimimum install. With fluxbox as wm, of course.
I propose to use wicd for wireless, but don't wish to use glipper as
my clipboard manager, because I want to any gnome dependencies.

I would welcome a recommendation for a clipboard manager that is
more "lean and mean" and works with fluxbox.

The same goes for a battery indicatory. I see three here
http://askubuntu.com/questions/126119/battery-monitor-on-fluxbox
any comments?

thanks

For the battery indicator, I personally use batti
(https://code.google.com/p/batti-gtk/)

I already answered the mail, but there's no ReplyTo, so I only sent it
to Tim. This one is for everyone to see.

Since ReplyTo implementation varies with the listserv, I've found
that "l" in mutt takes care of the variations.

Thanks for the tip on batti (I'm a pythonist) and user1 recommend
parcellite for the clipboard.

cheers

Hmmm! As an "old" (in more ways than one) slackist, that's very
interesting. I'm going to stick with the ubuntu minimal for this
machine (since I'm already running the install), but I've got
another identical netbook, will try on that one.

thanks for the tip on salix, first I've heard of it.
