I am trying to figure out why the time/date on the Fluxbox toolbar
flashes one a second when the toolbar is placed on the left
hand side of the screen in a vertical position.
I can stop the flash by eliminating the seconds digits from
the time, so I guess the problem is connected to that.
I am also not crazy about the way the date time is written
in a vertical manner. Are there ways around these problems?

Thanks

Never mind. Went to tint2 for a toolbar - no flashing problem, and
the text is written horizontally , not vertically.
Sorry for the noise.
