Does anyone know if there is a GUI configuration program for Fluxbox. I know of
one for Openbox - but have failed to come up with one for Fluxbox.

There are at least three GUI apps that might work:

fluxstyle: http://fluxbox-wiki.org/index.php?title=FluxStyle
to install and manage styles

For your menu you might use:
http://fluxmenu.berlios.de/
and/or
http://fme.rhymux.info/

That's it.

Do not use any other application such as fluxconf.
This app tends to break your configs.

Beside that, the best application you could use is your $EDITOR.

I just this minute dl'ed it and installed it - but it just
handles switching and removing styles.
I am looking for something that allows me to modify styles
without using $EDITOR :)

Really? Its on my machine but I've never used it - seems
a little ackward, unwieldy to me.

I don't think I made myself clear - what I am looking for is a GUI
to modify and perhaps create style files for Fluxbox.
I have Googled looking for one but so far no luck.

Thanks

There's no such application.
Styles are handcrafted with your desired $EDITOR and GIMP if it comes to
pixmap based styles.

Ahh rats! Oh well back to the $EDITOR.
