[Fluxbox-users] Key command to switch heads

I use a Two X setup, I prefer this over Xinerama because I have
independent workspaces, and I never had the need to drag windows across
heads.

What I am missing though is being able to jump from one head to another
one with a Key command, I can perfectly switch workspaces and windows
but no heads, so I have to push my mouse between heads to achieve that.

I've read through the docs and the closes is SetHead but that Is
Xinerama only (one DISPLAY)

I've tried with wmctrl and xprop but no luck chaning commands so far.

ANy Ideas?

SetHead <int> # Sets the default head for a
window --> xinerama

I'm running F9 x86_64 and F8 i386 on x86_64 hardware, should this matter.

Hi oleksandr,
That is my problem, that Key comand works only for Xinerama. As I
mentioned on my message I do not use a Xinerama setup I run two X instances.

Jj,

I don't use xinerama either. I use TwinView, and I have
Option "Xinerama" "0"

in my ServerFlags section of xorg.conf, but that command still works for
me. So your problem, apparently, is not with xinerama.

Mathias:
I tried xwit and didn't work, as you mention in the article, there are
issues setting the DISPLAY variable, seem to be the same issues I had
when using wmctrl and xprop.
I tried launching the command from a terminal, from fbrun and as a
keybinding, none of them worked :(

Oleksandr:
My X setup is the following:

Section "Device"
Identifier "nvidia0"
Boardname "Nvidia GeForce8600"
Busid "PCI:1:0:0"
Driver "nvidia"
Screen 0
EndSection

Section "Device"
Identifier "nvidia1"
Boardname "Nvidia GeForce8600"
Busid "PCI:1:0:0"
Driver "nvidia"
Screen 1
EndSection

I added the Xinerama option, but SetHead didn't work either.
